The initial consultation lasts 50 minutes and serves for mutual getting to know each other. You tell me about your concerns, and I explain my way of working. Together we clarify whether therapeutic cooperation makes sense. The conversation is non-binding for you and is already covered by health insurance.

Yes, as a licensed psychotherapist with health insurance accreditation, costs are covered by all statutory and private health insurance companies. After the probationary sessions, I apply for cost coverage from your insurance company. You only need to bring your insurance card.

Yes, psychotherapy is always voluntary. You can end treatment at any time. Ideally, we discuss it together if you’re considering termination, so we can clarify the reasons and possibly arrange a good closing session.
The duration varies depending on the problem and therapy goal. Short-term therapy comprises 25 hours (about 6 months), long-term therapy up to 60 hours (about 1.5 years). Extensions are possible if needed. Together we decide what scope makes sense for you.
Yes, absolutely. As a psychotherapist, I’m bound by confidentiality. Everything you confide in me remains between us. Only in a few legally defined exceptional cases (e.g., danger to self or others) may this confidentiality be broken – but then only after consultation with you.
